Apr 10, 2010 2-4pm | April 9-11. The 71st Pennsylvania Voluntary Infantry will be encamped at Graeme Park all weekend drilling and training their new recruits for Civil War reenactments. The public is invited to come out on Saturday to see a firing demonstration and learn about camp life for soldiers and civilians alike. Admission charged.

May 08, 2010 7am-9:30pm | The Friends of Horsham Library will be hosting a trip to the US Military Academy at West Point and Highland Falls, NY. Trip includes deluxe motor coach round trip leaving the Horsham Libray at 7AM and returning by about 9:30 PM. There will be a combination of bus and walking walking Tour of West Pointwith our step-on-guide we will be stopping at the Main Cadet Chapel, Trophy Point, Battle Monument, the Monument to the Great Chain, the Parade Field, the Old Cadet Chapel and West Point Cemetery. Our guide will cover, in an entertaining and informative way, the history of West Point and its key role in the American Revolution as well as the prominent leadership role West Point graduates have played and continue to play in the shaping of our nation. (we will be walking 1hr. 20 min.) Buffet lunch at the Thayer Hotel then a tour of the Hudson on the Pride of the Hudson, highlighting: sights along the River including Mt.
