Horsham - One of the Best Places to Live in the US
Horsham has been recognized by US News and World Report Magazine and CNN Money Magazine as one of the best places to live in the US.
2011 - Horsham listed as #31 in by Money Magazine in Money's list of best small towns.

2009 - (from the Horsham Township Report Fall 2009) In June of this year, U.S. News and World Report Magazine identified Horsham Township as one of the Best Places to live in America. Of the 2,566 municipalities in Pennsylvania only 63 municipalities made the list. The selected municipalities were not numerically ranked. U.S. News looked at areas with strong economies, low living costs and plenty of fun things to do. The selection is based on a series of indicators that include population, low crime rates, cost of living, healthcare, housing prices, income and more. Township Manager Mike McGee stated in a recent interview: "While attracting responsible business growth, Horsham has maintained a real sense of community providing residents with numerous park facilities, excellent schools, economic opportunity, and safe neighborhoods." The township's 800 acres of parkland (the largest municipal park system in Montgomery County), Horsham Day, wide range of employment opportunities and housing types, excellent school system, and low crime rates are all factors that contributed to the recognition.

2007 - CNN Money magazine, in June 2007, ranked Horsham as the 15th Best Place to Live in America, citing our area's history dating back to William Penn's original land grants, and our current status as a bustling community with great schools, a variety of parks and, most recently, our new 25,000-square-foot library (celebrating its 5th anniversary in 2009.
In addition to the fabulous new Horsham Library (left), Horsham will open a brand new Police Station on December 12, 2009. We also recently converted our old public works building into a brand new Community Center (right) which is available for use by community groups and local companies.
