Kiwanis Tanner Park Project
Kiwanis - Elm Street - Tanner Park Project
The Kiwanis Club of Hatboro-Horsham and Elm Street Hatboro, in conjuction with The Village Players of Hatboro have been working to improve Hatboro's Tanner Park.
The basketball court has been repaved and painted; new nets are installed. The Boro Parks and Rec has recently installed several new pieces of playground equipment. Much more is to follow. The drawing above shows our concept of the completed park. (Click on the image to enlarge)
Our current project is constructing a lighted, paved walkway leading from Springdale Avenue into Tanner Park. This walkway will be constructed with engraved pavers which may be purchased and engraved with messages visible to future generations enjoying the park. Monies raised from the project will be used to purchase new playground equipment for the park.
Engraved bricks will have a maximum of 4 lines of print with 15 characters or spaces per line. Please use a separate form for each brick ordered. Each engraved paver is $50.
This project is a wonderful opportunity for you to purchase bricks in honor of your children, grandchildren, husband, wife, parents, or grandparents or to memorialize a loved one, celebrate a new life or mark a date of importance in your life.
